This was created while I was thinking about how people are often surprised that I’m into or know of niche references or not so niche references. Like when I went to dinner with one of my best friends, they mentioned they were surprised that I was using gamer jargon as a metaphor. If it makes sense to me and eloquently relays what I’m trying to express, then so be it. Who really cares what people say or think after all? This life is your own to live, and lead by the best of your own soul’s passion. Fuck the rest of em darlings. So enjoy and interact with more, regardless of whether it’s cool or considered lame. If you like it, then that’s all that matters. Don’t let anyone shit on your happiness. That is YOURS and no one can steal that from you, despite what those anxiety induced voices are whispering to you. Don’t limit yourselves in any capacity! You’ll find your family and connect through the things that your souls are drawn to. So don’t you dare make fun of, or disrespect someone else’s taste and curiosities. If it’s not for you, then it ain’t for ya! Just move along, and keep searching for YOUR perfect fit. You too will find it, if you allow yourself to genuinely search and have the bravery to let yourself strive for that in everything you do. Believe in yourself the most forever and always!
