So much has changed in such little time. She wondered if his feelings for her had too or not? How could she ask him that? Would he understand where she was coming from? After everything she had gone through as of late, she would be in need of something concrete. They tip toe and dance around social media undetected by the masses but this time was different for her. She needs him. Something coming from him directly to let her know she isn’t fucking bat shit crazy when it comes to this connection. Something only the two of them would know. By all means, it doesn’t make much sense yet at the same time there are way too many “coincidences” to be anything other than true and real. Like that time she was playing Iris by The Goo Goo Dolls, while watching him live and he had no music on and had not just been listening to the song either yet he started singing the exact part she was listening to… yeAH. OK. Lol Crazy shit like that. Another time, she found old songs she hadn’t heard in forever, including Latch by Disclosure & Sam Smith then literally only an hour later he played that song on his live and said the same exact thing. He hadn’t heard it in a long ass time either. She just has a hard time sometimes, accepting this reality because her survival instinct is aways waiting for the other shoe to drop. It’s times like these that I remind myself; but what if it didn’t fucking suck?! What if it’s beautiful and I get to finally be happy? Cause lord knows I’ve been through the ringer. So what if now is when all the good shit comes full circle and I get to enjoy the fruits of my labor finally. I CHOOSE to only go up from here.
