My perspective on Covid

Covid is like an opportunity for people to either CHOOSE to stay or CHOOSE to checkout. A lot of people passed on and those they left behind, so vulnerable in their wake, would argue and be offended by the notion of their passed love one to ever think of CHOOSING to leave THEM behind. It’s unfathomable. However. “Everyone leaves when it’s their time to go.” We all say it to console one another, but it’s absolutely true too. Not JUST pretty words.

We do leave when it’s our time to go, we choose to leave because it’s just time for us. That’s all. It’s not out of emotions or any malicious hidden agendas, it just is so. We can understand, we can recognize, and accept that is the way this life goes, but of course it’s still gonna suck all the while. So long as we pick ourselves back up and keep moving along on our journey, we’ll soon enough meet our own fate as well. There’s nothing morbid or scary, nor exhilarating or splendid about our endings, they just are inevitable. That’s all, nothing more to it. There is NOT any type of preset or way that we are meant to view death itself, we are meant to know on a deeper level what will happen inevitably. Something to anchor and help us decide how we want to feel about these things, and that in turn will also determine the paths we take and the actions we choose. Which also in turn, dictate the lives we lead completely of our own making and choosing based on the fore mentioned factors. So you see, the question we must all face is not whether we fear or accept death but rather, how we choose to perceive it and why that is for our individual selves. So if we long for a beautiful life to look back on for an assortment of different reasons, then all we ought do is choose accordingly. The same goes for the opposite scale, we simply choose according to what we truly believe deep down. You can say all you want in front of whomever, all day long if you want to. However that does nothing for what’s deep inside our minds and hearts. Only we can know what lies beneath it all, and we mustn’t tell another soul right? So it feels. Until we learn, grow, and figure out what it all truly is. Then we realize it’s nothing to be ashamed of internally, it’s all apart of our personal journey’s. Some of us choose to share these journeys with others, who bear witness to all the mistakes, growth, change, everything, and as good spectators they can’t help but draw conclusions of their own. We can only hope that they also relate their personal circumstances to it all, and draw new conclusions of their own for their personal health and growth too. It’s all about uplifting and helping others uplift themselves as well through shared knowledge. It’s a very beautiful thing. Messy, yes, there’s always miscommunications but we all learn. In due time. That is all….
