Before we all left together for a family lunch, I happened to peer out into the garden.
The first thing I saw was two beautiful, big, yellow, butterflies flying around our lemon tree.
I almost immediately teared up but kept it together in front of everyone.
Awhile ago when I was bathing my dog, a yellow butterfly came by and landed on his nose. He was so gentle and just let it be there for however long it decided. It flew off after about a min and we watched it go together. I wish I had a picture of it but it’s ok cause it’s forever engrained in my memory. This was one of the cutest moments with my baby boy…
White butterflies remind me of him too because we always get so many of them in the yard during spring and we would watch them as they would fly so close to us in the grass.
Nothing hits me harder than a yellow butterfly tho. They’re rare in our yard…Today there were two. Miss ya too buddy. 💛🦋
