A Drive Down Memory Lane

I threw on a cardigan I had not worn in YEARS. My favorite summer staple along with my favorite summertime bag. I was simply headed out for an errand but it turned into something greater as the waves of nostalgia emanated from these articles of clothing.
A spontaneous road trip with myself and my guardian angel.
We seldom are ever alone together, so it was nice to be in each other’s company relaxing for a change.
We cried together as we listened to his playlist, and passed by our ghost spots.
Places we used to frequent but no longer can return to. They’re like time capsules that echo our laughter.
We smiled as we went through each memory. We happy cried for these were not dreams, but fond memories.
It was interesting to see what things had changed since our hiatus, and what things were still very much so the same.
I found that the road leading me to my tattoo shop over on Chesterfield, had not changed a bit!
