Inside my heART

This piece has such a special place in my soul now. Honestly… I think I’m ok with saying this is my favorite piece and most beautiful work I’ve ever created. That’s my heART guys. On full display. When I say I’ve been through a lot… I fucking mean it. Every line that you see is a cut from a real person. The biggest blows my heART took were two deaths, which is something I’m still dealing with. I’m still navigating that grief from losing my two boyz. My best friend and dog Champ, and my first love. Which is what caused half my heart to rip off and die along with him. Somehow though, it grew back stronger over the years. Everything else is in black because those are wounds that have closed and healed. They no longer hurt me, but as one of my best friends recently said: “That scar is always gonna be there.” Another one of my best friends mentioned: “You take your scars, and make them beautiful.” I thought about that for a second and I was like: “I really do, huh?” Lol I think that’s a beautiful practice honestly. I guess I just never really thought about that. I just kinda do me Lol So it’s nice to get an outsider perspective like that. I wish more people would tell me how they interact with me, and my art which is me too. I told my friend thank you for sharing her perspective on me and my art cause no one tells me these things and I wish people would. I would LOVE to hear how you interact with my art. Cause it’s MY heART out there.
